Children at Long Sutton Dentistry Policy

At Long Sutton Dentistry we aim to get our children happy and confident in visiting the dentist and to give them good habits which will last a lifetime.

In order for children to be seen at Long Sutton Dentistry a parent or guardian must be registered with the practice and seen for annual examinations as a minimum.

Children under the age of 5 are free of charge.

All 5- to 18-year-olds will be seen under our children’s dental plan. As all 5- to 18-year-olds are required to go on a dental plan, due to this we do not charge a new patient consultation appointment.

At a child’s initial visit, he/she will see their registered dentist for a full examination and charting of their teeth. Thereafter, regular appointments will be with one of the practices therapists.

If there is a problem or the child needs an orthodontist referral this is when the dentist will see them.

For adult treatments carried out by the therapist they will receive a 50% discount.

For treatment carried out by the dentist they will receive a 10% discount.
