Dr Renata Farthing qualified in 1994 from the University of Grande Rio in Brazil and went on to establish her own successful dental clinic in Rio de Janeiro, where she practised from 1997 to 2005. During this time, she also served as a dentist in the Brazilian Army, gaining valuable, wide-ranging clinical experience.

After obtaining her UK registration in 2010, Dr Farthing has worked in both NHS and private practices, developing a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and has completed extensive additional training in aesthetic dentistry, including clear aligners and fixed braces.

Renata is especially passionate about smile makeovers, often combining clear aligner treatment with composite bonding to create natural-looking, confidence-boosting results tailored to each individual patient.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three dogs and unwinding through creative hobbies such as sewing patchwork quilts and knitting.
